The BOMB!

Wouldn’t it be nice to go to a Deli and get exactly what you want? But lets be honest, who actually knows what they are in the mood for? Unless you’re a regular, and as New York tradition clearly states, if you’re not a “regular” at some Deli/Bodega, then you’re a foreigner…a tourist, and might as well grab a bite in Times Square. So… where do you go? How do you become a “New Yorker”….

First make the trek to Astoria, Queens, get off at the last stop and go to Sal and Kris’ Deli…. and among the colorful names of great sandwiches, go for “The Bomb!” It’s already clear that you don’t know what you want, but if you get “The Bomb” you’ll find yourself with over a foot-long sandwich with every single type of meat in the store… How can you go wrong! The challenge then becomes eating in style.. that’s a whole different story, but start with getting the right sandwich!
